Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Instructor, Pediatrics, Neonatology

Stony Brook University: Health Sciences: Renaissance School of Medicine: Pediatrics Location Southampton, New York Description The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will provide direct care to select patients at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital in collaboration with an attending Neonatologist. The role also includes annually reviewing NNP protocols and instructing residents and NP students in DR resuscitation and NICU stabilization skills (e.g., NRP). The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct care to patients at the Labor and Delivery Service and Nursery at Southampton Hospital, and may also participate in the care of patients in the NICU at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Master’s Degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Nursing or completion of a course for Nurse Practitioner; Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner; New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner; Minimum of one year of full‑time clinical experience in Pediatrics.
