Position Summary: The Texas Family Clinic is an Internal Medicine and Pediatric outpatient clinic, looking for a self-motivated Receptionist with a professional and positive attitude. In this position, you will work under the direct supervision of a Physician to coordinate patient care. This is a full time position.

Responsibilities

Work in a fast paced environment with the ability to work well under pressure

Multitasking

Answers calls in a timely manner

Accurately document clinical messages

Schedules, cancels and confirms office visits

Greets patients/families, registers/check-in/check-out patients, verifies and updates necessary information

Verify and check eligibility for Insurance

Perform receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Past experience as a medical receptionist, or similar role

Demonstrates resourcefulness, independent thinking, and seeks additional challenges and opportunities on their own

Clear communicator

Must have excellent customer care skills

Must be a team player

Must be able to multi-task

Experience with EPIC ( Electronic Medical System)

Work Hours:

Work hours Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Friday 8:00am -12:00 pm
