Key Responsibilities\n

As a licensed professional, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting personalized and comprehensive assessments for new and existing patients, taking into account their unique experiences and trauma history.

• Diagnosing mental health or emotional disorders using evidence-based practices and formulating individualized treatment plans incorporating various modalities.

• Engaging actively with patients in therapy sessions, where you will employ therapeutic techniques to help them navigate and manage their emotional challenges effectively.

• Educating both patients and staff on coping strategies for trauma and stress management, equipping them with the skills to enhance resilience.

• Monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and documenting all findings meticulously using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Collaborating with medical professionals, social services, and community organizations to ensure patients have access to comprehensive care services.

• Participating in continuing education opportunities to maintain certifications, stay updated on best practices, and enhance professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on providing care for individuals who have experienced trauma, whether due to personal events or broader societal issues. Our diverse patient population ranges from adults to adolescents, each presenting unique challenges and backgrounds. You will work towards understanding their stories and assisting them in crafting pathways to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience specifically working with trauma patients.

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite to manage documentation and communication effectively.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trust with patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
