Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to understand patients' emotional and psychological challenges related to weight management.

• Utilize standardized assessments to guide treatment planning, ensuring that therapy selection is based on individual patient needs.

• Provide personalized counseling sessions targeting the emotional and behavioral aspects associated with weight loss, obesity, and binge eating.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that consider each patient's unique circumstances, preferences, and goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on a dynamic and diverse patient population, primarily individuals struggling with obesity and binge eating disorders. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring that their mental health needs are understood and addressed compassionately and effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.

• Possession of a valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Florida.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interaction with patients and colleagues.

• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 15 pounds, which may be required during patient sessions.

• Visual acuity for close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception tasks.
