About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Director / Vice President for Hematology Marketing to lead the brand strategy development and commercial launch execution for its lead asset, an ex vivo autologous hematopoietic stem cell-based gene therapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the brand strategy, ensuring alignment across key cross-functional stakeholders, and leading the marketing and marketing operations team. This role is pivotal in the potential first product commercialization and requires a strategic and driven commercial leader with a proven track record in developing and executing brand strategies, particularly in the cell and gene therapy space. Applicants must have a BS/BA in a relevant field, with an MBA, MD, PhD, or other graduate degree strongly preferred, and a minimum of 12 years of business experience in the pharma/biotech/biopharma industry. Experience in cell and gene therapy and U.S. launch experience are essential. The role demands outstanding strategic thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, a collaborative nature, and a strong ability to influence and develop others. Advanced communication and presentation skills are required, and experience in both large and small company environments is a plus. The position is based in Cambridge, MA, and the candidate should be prepared to travel as needed.
