The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Montague seeking Shop Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production schedules and resource allocation.
- Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures.
- Manage and mentor a team of manufacturing technicians and operators.
- Monitor production efficiency and identify areas for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with supply chain to optimize material flow and inventory levels.
- Prepare production reports and analyze key performance indicators.
Recommended Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of skilled technicians.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) or similar production management software.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
