Job Description We are seeking an Investment Operations Specialist to join our Global Fund Custody Group within Fund Services. This role is 100% onsite and supports internal partners across a range of client relationships in the syndicated and private bank loan markets. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in bank loan processing and operational oversight and a proven ability to ensure accurate, timely trade booking, reconciliation, and reporting under strict Service Level Agreements. Responsibilities: Track pending and settled bank loan trades for broadly syndicated, middle market, and private bank loan assets. Prepare and deliver daily, monthly, and quarterly client reports with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Perform booking and reconciliation of account activity to ensure 100% data accuracy. Research and resolve operational and accounting exceptions, including complex items requiring extensive review. Interface with Investment teams and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain efficient service. Verify account entries, balance totals, and prepare correcting adjustments as needed. Ensure documentation requirements are satisfied and audit-ready. Respond to inquiries from customers, brokers, and internal employees in a timely manner. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, or equivalent work experience. 1+ years in bank loan processing or loan administration within the syndicated loan market. Ability to communicate effectively via email and in writing. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving capability. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a dynamic team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of bank loan operational functions, systems, and procedures. Ability to interpret credit agreements and apply analytical judgment. Experience with Wallstreet Office, SEI, Solvas, or CDO Suite. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills; prior client-facing experience is a plus. Why BCforward?
