Work Environment\n

This position is predominantly remote, allowing therapists the flexibility to balance work and personal life effectively. Therapists will be able to conduct sessions via telemedicine as well as in-person, when necessary, from our newly designed outpatient office located in Elgin, Illinois, ensuring a modern and comfortable atmosphere for both employees and patients. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health and any interpersonal issues affecting family dynamics.

• Providing individual, couple, and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of clients.
\n
• Creating and implementing treatment plans addressing issues such as grief and loss, conflicts among family members, job stress, and abuse.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches to facilitate meaningful dialogue between family members and assist in conflict resolution.

• Regularly evaluating progress toward treatment goals and modifying approaches as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.

• Documenting sessions and maintaining accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients encountering compounding medical or psychological issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this therapeutic role, you will engage with a diverse client population, primarily focusing on individuals, couples, and families confronting a myriad of challenges. Your work will encompass various concerns, including but not limited to:

• Navigating physical and psychological trauma.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid state LMFT license.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Preferred Experience\n
