Senior Vice President, Accounting and Finance About the Company Accomplished real estate investment & operating firm Industry Real Estate Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking an SVP, Accounting/Finance with a path to CFO. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting function, including managing a team of 3 direct reports. This role involves making key decisions related to IT and HR, serving on the Executive Committee to contribute to firm strategy, and leading the assembly and production of financial reports, statements, and budgets. The SVP will also be involved in obtaining and restructuring bank loans and lines of credit, preparing or reviewing tax returns, and providing strategic oversight for cash management and variance analysis. Applicants for the SVP, Accounting/Finance position at the company should have a BS degree in accounting and/or business, with an MBA or Master's degree in a related field being desirable. A CPA credential is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have at least 7-10 years of financial management experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the real estate sector, and must possess intimate knowledge of Yardi. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as the ability to work closely with the Executive Committee to drive the firm's financial strategy.
