• Location: Roseland, NJ (On-site)
• Pay Rate: $24.00 / hour
• Position Type: (Temp-to-Perm)
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch; 21 hours/week)

About the Role

A fast-paced law firm in Roseland, NJ is seeking a sharp, highly organized Part-Time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our office. This position handles a heavy volume of calls from prospective clients and requires exceptional multi-tasking skills, strong phone etiquette, and the ability to juggle multiple incoming lines seamlessly. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer, screen, and route a high volume of incoming calls, prioritizing prospective client inquiries.
• Multi-task efficiently, handling call waiting, message-taking, and active lines simultaneously with professionalism and calm.
• Greet visiting clients, vendors, and guests, ensuring a welcoming and polished reception area.
• Perform initial intake details for prospective clients and direct information to the appropriate legal team members.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and faxes.
• Provide general administrative support, including light data entry, filing, and office supply monitoring.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience as a receptionist or front desk coordinator required (legal, professional services, or high-volume call center background strongly preferred).
• Proven ability to juggle multi-line phone systems and manage concurrent calls without losing attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities and composure under pressure in a busy environment.
• Proficiency with basic office software (Microsoft Office/Outlook) and general office equipment.
• Reliable attendance for the required Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday schedule.
