Staff Accountant (JN -092026-429899) Ayer, Massachusetts Salary: USD60000 - USD75000 per year We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing construction and service-based organization. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, cash applications, payment processing, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take ownership of responsibilities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Manage AP and AR activities Process invoicing, collections, and cash applications Assist with month-end accounting and reporting functions Monitor cash flow and support payment processing Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations Partner with internal teams to improve processes and efficiency Qualifications 3+ years of accounting experience Strong invoicing, collections, and general accounting knowledge Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Construction, service industry, or project-based accounting experience is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
