Staff Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing construction and service-based organization. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, cash applications, payment processing, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take ownership of responsibilities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Manage AP and AR activities Process invoicing, collections, and cash applications Assist with month-end accounting and reporting functions Monitor cash flow and support payment processing Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations Partner with internal teams to improve processes and efficiency Qualifications: 3+ years of accounting experience Strong invoicing, collections, and general accounting knowledge Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Construction, service industry, or project-based accounting experience is a plus All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
