Lead Commercial HVAC Service Technician Lead Commercial HVAC Service TechnicianLouisville, KYPerfection Group is hiring a Lead Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support our Louisville service team.We're looking for a highly skilled technician who can independently solve complex equipment problems, build trusted customer relationships, and provide technical leadership in the field. You'll service a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems while helping less-experienced technicians strengthen their skills and confidence.Paid drive time, a company vehicle, major tools, and continued technical training are provided.What You'll DoTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, split systems, and heat pumpsDiagnose complex mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls-related issuesIdentify necessary repairs, obtain replacement parts, and calibrate equipment according to manufacturer recommendationsExplain equipment conditions, repair needs, and recommended solutions clearly to customersPerform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and efficiencyProvide technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and field support to less-experienced techniciansHelp reinforce safe work practices, quality standards, and effective service proceduresTravel to customer locations throughout Louisville and the surrounding service areaCoordinate with dispatch and communicate schedule changes or delays promptlyDocument service calls, repairs, and resolutions accurately using company softwareParticipate in a rotating emergency on-call schedule, including nights and weekendsMaintain a clean and safe work area, company vehicle, tools, and assigned equipmentParticipate in company- and vendor-provided trainingYou May Be a Great Fit If YouHave five to ten or more years of commercial or industrial HVAC service and repair experiencePossess strong hands-on knowledge of chillers, boilers, rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipmentUnderstand commercial HVAC, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls systemsDiagnose complex equipment problems accurately and develop practical solutionsProvide patient, credible technical guidance to less-experienced techniciansCommunicate clearly, consistently, and professionally with customers, dispatch, leadership, and teammatesBuild trust through technical expertise, sound judgment, and dependable follow-throughWork independently while remaining connected and accountable to the teamTake ownership of your schedule, documentation, vehicle, tools, and customer commitmentsTake pride in completing safe, accurate, high-quality workRemain calm and dependable when responding to urgent customer needsHold a Universal EPA Section 608 certificationHold a valid Kentucky Journeyman HVAC Mechanic licenseHave completed an accredited HVAC technical or trade-school programHave a high school diploma or equivalentHold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbout Perfection GroupWe believe a well-managed facility can transform our world.
