Work Environment

This full-time position entails a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible environment conducive to the needs of both staff and patients. At our Clearwater facility, you will engage with a diverse patient population, primarily addressing musculoskeletal disorders, post-operative recovery, and sports-related injuries, in a collegial setting that values teamwork and mutual support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy sessions tailored to each patient's unique needs, ensuring comprehensive understanding of their physical challenges and goals.
• Maintain an optimal patient load to allocate sufficient time for assessments and interventions, enhancing the quality of care provided.
• Demonstrate proficiency in orthopedic outpatient care through hands-on techniques, advanced therapeutic tools, and evidence-based practices.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities aimed at improving patient mobility and functionality while advocating for non-invasive treatment alternatives.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and adjust personalized care plans, utilizing the latest research, assessment tools, and treatment techniques.
• Develop and conduct fitness and wellness programs that motivate patients to engage in their recovery process actively.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and adapt treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes, documenting all services in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• Offer emotional support and encouragement throughout the patient's rehabilitation journey, enhancing their confidence and dedication to treatment.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and stay updated with innovative physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center caters primarily to adults undergoing rehabilitation for sports injuries, orthopedic surgery recovery, and chronic pain management. The ideal candidate will possess a compassionate approach, actively engaging with patients to promote adherence to treatment and empower them through education about their conditions and recovery strategies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and impeccable Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities essential for outpatient orthopedic care.
• Strong analytical skills in assessing patient needs and developing effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems with familiarity in WebPT for thorough documentation of patient sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in treating orthopedic patients, particularly within an outpatient clinic setting, is preferred.
• Advanced certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy will be viewed favorably.
• Demonstrated success in developing innovative exercise programs and utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
