Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, reviewing comprehensive medical histories to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment protocols clearly to patients and their families, encouraging their involvement in goal-setting for effective outcomes.
• Implement treatment strategies utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each patient's individual needs, while demonstrating proficiency in manual therapy and exercise prescription.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and refer patients for additional medical or rehabilitation consultation as necessary based on continuous assessment of their conditions.
• Oversee the documentation process for all patient care activities, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping as per regulatory standards.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity benchmarks while maintaining a manageable patient schedule.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will primarily consist of orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will address a diverse range of musculoskeletal issues, utilizing specialized treatment techniques aimed at restoring mobility and reducing pain.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active Florida state license as a Physical Therapist, with a clean professional record and no history of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques and creating individualized exercise protocols based on clinical findings.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with a track record of achieving positive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
