Work Environment

This role is based in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Largo, Florida, where you will work onsite alongside a diverse multi-disciplinary team. You will benefit from a structured schedule, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring work-life balance while pursuing your career.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities and health needs to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Implement individualized therapeutic interventions designed to promote recovery, advance mobility, and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and rehabilitation techniques to foster engagement in their care.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, allowing focused and dedicated therapy sessions.
• Utilize effective manual therapy techniques and exercise program design to address orthopedic issues.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment modalities to ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Track and document patient progress using electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT, to facilitate effective communication and treatment adjustments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring optimal coordination of services.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their recovery, instilling confidence and encouraging adherence to treatment programs.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes and adapt strategies to meet changing patient needs effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation, catering to a diverse patient demographic that includes athletes, active adults, and elderly clients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Your expertise will help enhance their strength, flexibility, and functional independence, paving the way for improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid Florida State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• No history of disciplinary actions associated with your license.
• Proficient in utilizing manual therapy and able to design and implement effective rehabilitation programs.
• Experience using EMR systems like WebPT to maintain patient records accurately.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated capability to administer cost-effective therapies promoting recovery and enhancing mobility.
• Experience in developing and implementing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
