Work Environment

This role is based in Clearwater, Florida, in our state-of-the-art outpatient office. As a therapist in this environment, you will work closely with a specialized team of healthcare professionals, including physiatrists and physical therapy assistants, to develop and implement tailored treatment plans. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and designing individualized treatment plans that address specific orthopedic concerns.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic exercises to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and restore function in alignment with prescribed care plans.
• Overseeing and mentoring physical therapy assistants, ensuring high-quality execution of therapeutic modalities and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Performing diagnostic tests to evaluate muscle, joint, and nerve performance, and adjusting therapy approaches based on patients' progress and feedback.
• Educating patients and their families about their conditions, the treatment process, and strategies for effective rehabilitation at home.
• Documenting clinical progress, maintaining accurate records, and participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss and strategize on patient care approaches.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of care strategies and programs aimed at enhancing patient engagement and satisfaction.
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population experiencing various orthopedic conditions, such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist in an acute care or home care setting, particularly focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current physical therapy licensure in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Current CPR certification for healthcare providers.
• A valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.

Compensation and Benefits

Healthy Motion Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
