Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Go Motion Physical Therapy, you will work onsite in patients' homes. This unique setting requires adaptability and the ability to deliver effective therapy in a variety of environments. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for consistent patient interactions and fostering therapeutic relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the entire therapeutic process for a designated group of patients in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and utilize the findings to develop and implement individualized care plans focused on rehabilitation goals, patient engagement, and overall positive patient experience.
• Conduct evaluations and treatment interventions following legal and ethical standards of physical therapy practice.
• Engage in continuous monitoring of patient progress and be proactive in adapting treatment plans to meet evolving needs.
• Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in therapeutic exercises, safe use of treatment devices, and effective techniques for continued care outside of therapy sessions.
• Prioritize daily caseloads effectively while coordinating patient assignments and ensuring seamless communication among the care team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily focus on adult patients with diverse orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will facilitate their rehabilitation process, empowering them to achieve functional independence and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, demonstrating your foundation of knowledge and skills in the field.
• Must hold a current and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of related clinical experience in an outpatient or home health setting, particularly with orthopedic patients.
• Strong manual therapy skills, with experience in developing personalized treatment plans that contribute to improved patient outcomes.
• Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to maintain accurate patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in home health care is preferred, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote patient management tools is a plus.
• Experience in community outreach and patient education initiatives would enhance your role within our team.

Compensation and Benefits
