Work Environment

Located in Clearwater, Florida, our rehabilitation center offers a collaborative and supportive environment that prioritizes patient-centered care. The team consists of experienced physical therapists, rehabilitation aides, and administrative staff who work closely together to provide top-tier service. Your hours will be from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, allowing for a great work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on patients' health.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments, gathering comprehensive medical histories and setting recovery goals tailored to individual needs.
• Create and implement personalized therapeutic treatment plans based on thorough evaluations, ensuring the use of evidence-based methods.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and support mobility enhancements.
• Utilize advanced orthopedic techniques that promote healing, including modalities like ultrasound therapy, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy.
• Incorporate exercise regimens that build strength, improve flexibility, and promote overall physical wellness within patient care plans.
• Document all services provided meticulously in electronic medical records (EMR), particularly within Web PT, to ensure continuity of care.
• Engage patients actively in their rehabilitation process, providing motivation and counseling on lifestyle choices that promote a healthy recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver comprehensive care for complex cases.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a therapist in our rehabilitation center, you will primarily work with adult patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain conditions, and sports-related injuries. Your role will focus on improving their functional capabilities, such as returning to work or daily activities, while providing them with the encouragement and support needed throughout their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven ability to demonstrate various manual therapy techniques, along with excellent skills in developing therapeutic exercise programs.
• Proficient in the use of EMR software, particularly Web PT, ensuring accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices, staying updated with the latest evidence-based techniques.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient clinical setting, especially focused on orthopedic physical therapy.
• Demonstrated success in implementing innovative rehabilitation programs that enhance patient recovery and satisfaction.
• Experience in mentoring newer physical therapists or students, contributing to a collaborative learning environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 yearly , commensurate with experience.
