Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our outpatient office, engaging with patients in a warm and welcoming atmosphere designed to promote healing. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, determining their specific needs and developing personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to implement therapeutic interventions and assess patient progress throughout the treatment process.
• Incorporate a multi-disciplinary approach by collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by actively engaging with patients and their families to foster supportive relationships that aid in recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and outcomes to comply with organizational standards.
• Educate patients and caregivers about their conditions, outlining clear goals for recovery and the importance of adhering to prescribed interventions.
• Participate in continuous professional development, remaining up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your patient base will consist primarily of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. You will have the opportunity to treat patients of all ages, including children in pediatric cases, as well as adults facing neurologic challenges, allowing for a diverse and rewarding clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current State License to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates who bring additional experience in specialty areas such as pediatrics, sports medicine, or neurology. Enthusiasm for building relationships within the community and previous participation in local health initiatives will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a base salary, we provide:
