Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Refined Body Therapy Services, you will be expected to:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patient needs and physical capabilities.
• Direct and provide physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disabilities and relieving pain, utilizing evidence-based practice.
• Oversee the work of physical therapy assistants, ensuring the correct application of treatment plans and techniques.
• Conduct evaluations using diagnostic and prognostic testing to measure muscle and joint function.
• Assess clients' home environments and advise on modifications to enhance rehabilitation and promote independence.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, administering manual interventions and physical agents as needed.
• Document client progress accurately through clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care strategies.
• Educate clients and their families about home exercise programs, the use of assistive devices, and ongoing care requirements.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, ensuring that all practices exceed standard requirements.
• Take an active role in professional development by staying current with clinical practices and contributing to team training efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse range of clients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain disorders. You will play an essential role in supporting clients across various ages and backgrounds, helping them navigate their paths to recovery with compassion and expertise.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid PT licensure in Florida, maintaining good standing with regulatory bodies.
• One year of clinical experience in physical therapy, preferably in outpatient or home health settings.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• A commitment to clinical excellence, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach.
• Current CPR certification and knowledge of safety protocols in a therapeutic setting.
• Ability to leverage clinical knowledge for effective decision-making and problem-solving.

Preferred Experience

While one year of experience is required, additional experience in specific therapeutic modalities, advanced certifications, or specialized training in neurological rehabilitation, geriatrics, or sports therapy would be advantageous.
