Position Title: Inside Sales Account Specialist

Department/Business: Sales / Modern Ice Equipment & Supply

Reports To: Sales Operations Manager in CSG

Location: Cincinnati, OH & Greendale, IN

Employment Status: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.M.–5:00 p.M. | On-Site

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Account Specialist is responsible for proactively growing and managing a client portfolio across an assigned region. This role partners closely with Outside Sales, educates customers on products and solutions, supports order processes, and delivers high-quality, relationship-focused service. Products and services include capital equipment and consumables for the ice industry.

Ideal candidates are positive, driven, relationship-focused, and genuinely excited to help clients succeed while contributing to business growth through proactive account development and back selling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Proactively grow and manage a client portfolio across an assigned region
• Partner closely with the Outside Sales team to exceed customer expectations
• Educate customers on product features, benefits, and related solutions;
  identify and pursue appropriate upsell and cross-sell (back selling) opportunities
• Support order entry, tracking, and client transition to the Ecommerce platform
• Resolve client issues with empathy and efficiency;
  field shipment and warranty issues and escalate to the Customer Advocate Group as needed
• Manage time and priorities to achieve service level and customer satisfaction goals
• Continuously expand product knowledge and skills
• Deliver memorable, people-focused service at every interaction
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• 3 years of account management or inside sales experience (B2B preferred)
• Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and customer-first mindset
• Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and maintain goal focus
• Comfort with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms
• Manufacturing or industrial supply experience a plus
• College degree preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus!

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate effectively by telephone and email
