Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Telemetry/Med-Surg) – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week, night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend required. Call coverage is a rare occurrence.

Highlights:

• Primary assignment to Observation unit with float requirements to various Med-Surg units including Respiratory, Stroke, and Cardiac, with potential Emergency Department rotation for qualified candidates
• Epic EMR system in use; demonstrated current proficiency required prior to start
• 13-week contract with fixed start date
• Telemetry and BCRA competency testing required on day one
• Night shift schedule with structured weekend rotation
• Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per contract period

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and Med-Surg experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret Telemetry/BCRA rhythms
• Current Epic EMR proficiency (documented experience required; training not available)
• Ability to float to multiple Med-Surg units and potentially Emergency Department
