Body Flow Physical Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at our outpatient facility in Tracy, California. This full-time position offers a salary range of USD 50,000 – 70,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities

• Administer tailored physical therapy treatments under the oversight of licensed physical therapists, utilizing advanced modalities, manual techniques, and therapeutic exercises.
• Guide patients through functional therapeutic activities such as bed mobility, transfers, gait training, and balance improvement, ensuring comprehensive recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress before, during, and after therapy sessions, reporting critical observations and status updates to the supervising physical therapist.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques, including massage, stretching, and the use of assistive devices like walkers, to enhance patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families regarding post-treatment care strategies and continued rehabilitation exercises to promote long-term health outcomes.
• Mentor and support junior staff in developing their technical skills, maintaining a high standard of care within the clinic.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the therapy department.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse patient population, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, post-operative patients, and community members suffering from orthopedic conditions. You will develop personalized treatment strategies for patients ranging from adolescents to seniors, addressing a wide variety of conditions linked to mobility and physical function.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possession of a current California PTA license and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Physical Therapy.
• Demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective interaction with patients and colleagues alike.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a team environment.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with experience in orthopedic settings or those holding additional certifications in rehabilitation techniques will be preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or a similar documentation system is beneficial.
