As a Security Officer Roving Patrol Guard in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy government healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness and visitor interactions. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials where required, and report unusual behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to location procedures.
• Support a professional environment within a government healthcare location by providing directions, assisting with visitor management, and following post orders for daily operations and incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
