Overview
Registered Nurse – Dialysis (Travel) – Burlington, Vermont, United States. Start date: 06/18/2026. Duration: 4 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,359–$2,477 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 9-hour day shifts with flexibility for 8/9/10/12-hour days as needed; Saturday requirements; float to additional sites as needed. This is a hospital-based setting focusing on outpatient dialysis care for ESRD patients. The assignment requires ability to travel within the region to support multiple outpatient dialysis locations.

Responsibilities
- Provide hemodialysis treatments to ESRD patients in an outpatient dialysis environment, following unit protocols and physician orders
- Set up and operate dialysis equipment, monitor machine parameters, manage alarms, and ensure proper vascular access and anticoagulation per protocol
- Continuously assess patients’ condition during treatment, monitor vital signs, fluid status, and electrolyte balance; address complications or alarms promptly
- Administer medications as ordered, document care and treatment data in the EPIC electronic medical record, and communicate changes to the nephrology team
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, maintain infection control practices, and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Float to additional unit locations (St. Albans and Berlin) as needed; comply with weekend/saturday coverage requirements and scheduling needs

Requirements
- Active RN license on file at the time of submission
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience; at least 1 year of outpatient dialysis experience
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Ability to work 9-hour day shifts with flexibility for extended or varied schedules; willing to float to St. Albans and Berlin as required
