Temporary Research Assistant (Multiple Vacancies) Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant within the Amaro Research Lab, part of the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology–Pediatric Population Science Department at the Rutgers Cancer Institute. The lab focuses on improving psychosocial outcomes for youth and families affected by pediatric cancer and sickle cell disease. Conduct qualitative data analyses. Assist in recruitment, date collection, and data management. Draft written reports for manuscripts and grant proposals. Prepare and publish scientific research papers and articles. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Effective oral and written communication skills. Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, public health, or a related life/medical science field. Hours up to 10 hours per week (standard 35 hours). Only a temporary staff appointment, hourly. Salary FLSA: Non‑exempt; Grade 99H. Minimum: $15.92, Mid‑Range: $75.00, Maximum: $150.00 per hour. Final offer depends on qualifications, experience, and grant funds.
