Multiple positions exist for passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs), offering positions at several elementary and middle schools. Work exclusively on-site, fostering student engagement and professional relationships across campuses with varied caseloads.


Key Qualifications:

• Active SLPA license issued by the Florida Department of Health
• Previous school-based experience as a plus
• Familiarity with caseloads of 50-55 students across diverse age groups
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Completion of required fingerprinting (prior prints from another FL school district may transfer via AHCA Clearinghouse upon validation)
• Ability and willingness to work at multiple school locations in the district

Position Details & Responsibilities:

• Contract runs from August 11, 2026, to May 27, 2027
• Full-time schedules available up to 37.5 hours weekly; part-time possibilities considered
• Serve students in assigned elementary and/or middle schools, delivering direct and indirect speech-language support
• Implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals, track student progress, and document interventions
• Work closely with SLPs, teachers, and families to enhance positive student outcomes
• Attend required school meetings and maintain updated student records
• Adhere to all district protocols for credentialing, including timely fingerprint status verification and badge requirements
