Description What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory analysesincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established protocols that ensure quality results.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and their preparation for testing when needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new team members, and help maintain lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification eligibility.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Maintain an active certification during your tenure.
