Breede Valley Municipality 2026/07/30 Worcester Job Reference Number: CS/MFS/WOR/0726 Department: Swimming Pool De La Bat Business Unit Industry: Government Job Type: Contract Positions Available: 3 Salary: R221 604,17 - R287 584,95 (EXTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT) DIRECTORATE: COMMUNITY SERVICES DIVISION: MUNICIPAL FACILITIES, SPORTS & RECREATION AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SUBSECTION: SWIMMING POOLS SEASONAL SWIMMING POOL POSITIONS SUPERVISOR (FIXED TERM) X3 LOCATION: WORCESTER (REF: CS/MFS/WOR/0726) SALARY: R 221 604.17 – R 287 584.95 per annum [T7] (Remuneration will be subject to the actual hours worked) Job Description Job Purpose: Supervises general and administrative tasks/activities associated with controlling and maintenance of pool facilities and surrounds, communicating instructions and attending to deviations from laid down procedures maintained acceptable standards supporting customer satisfaction and service delivery objectives. Duties Executes specific applications associated with the maintenance of the public pool Perform supervision and controls the tasks/activities of the general workers of the swimming grounds and allocates and prioritises outcomes Monitors the storage and care of tools, materials and equipment Completes internal transactional documentation (e.g. activity schedule, log sheet, etc.) and related forms and/or provides general office support Check and control all cash received Perform health and safety regulations in terms of OHS Act. Job Requirements Minimum Requirements Grade 12 or a relevant post matric qualification Basic computer literacy: MS Officer 2 - 5 years relevant experience First Aid Certificate Lifesaving skills Health and Safety skills Report writing skills Proficient in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages in the Western Cape Applicants who have not previously been employed by Breede Valley Municipality as seasonal swimming pool supervisors will be given preference.
