Registered Nurse – Charge Acute Care in a travel capacity. Templeton, California, United States. Start date 09/21/2026 for a 13-week assignment in a 122-bed short-term acute care setting. Weekly pay range $1,740–$1,816 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). This role provides unit-based leadership in collaboration with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff to deliver safe, cost-effective, high-quality patient care and to promote patient safety and satisfaction on the unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership and supervise nursing and ancillary personnel; partner with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff to plan and revise patient care plans.
- Ensure delivery of cost-effective, professional nursing care that emphasizes patient safety, quality outcomes, and high patient satisfaction.
- Direct and monitor staff in performing patient care activities; participate in patient care as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Conduct rounds to assess patient needs, introduce yourself to patients and families, and solicit feedback on the quality of nursing services.
- Develop and implement care strategies with leadership to improve customer satisfaction and care outcomes; investigate and resolve care-related and operational issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate and complete EPIC documentation; ensure care plans reflect the continuum of care and are communicated across shifts.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum two years of recent RN experience in acute care; supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Department-specific BLS certification required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications (AHA-ACLS/ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS/ARC-PALS) required.
- EPIC experience required.
- Ability to work the listed night-shift schedule and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
