Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) in Templeton, California, United States. This travel assignment begins 08/31/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Earn $1,699–$1,842 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Perform professional nursing care for patients in the ER, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Coordinate, manage, and delegate patient care while upholding Standards of Nursing Practice; collaborate with the health care team
- Document clearly and concisely; deliver timely reports to oncoming staff; complete required quality monitors
- Recognize signs of cardiac, respiratory, or other emergencies; respond appropriately to Code Blue and other emergencies
- Administer and chart medications using the hospital’s 6 rights; obtain history and physical assessments per unit protocol for all age groups
- Contribute to discharge planning by providing patient education and organizing necessary information for the next steps of care
- Adhere to infection control guidelines and maintain patient, co-worker, and hospital privacy

Requirements
- Graduate of a state-approved school of nursing; active RN license in the state of practice
- At least 2 years of recent acute care RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ENPC meets PALS requirements; NIHSS certification
- Certification requirements: AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS, with PALS within 6 months of hire or transfer
- EPIC electronic medical record experience
- Ability to work in a high-acuity ER setting on a night shift
