- Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of USC HR policies, State of SC HR Regulations and applicable federal HR laws/regulations specific to higher education.
- Prior experience in cross-functional HR program management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and lead others to ensure effective operations at the law school.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to human resources.
- Ability to analyze requests to determine compliance with policies, procedures and regulations.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Must possess the ability to write clearly, accurately, and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate and prioritize work assignments to meet timeliness and quality expectations.
