HR Advisor

The HR Advisor at the Law School plays a vital role in supporting the university's mission by aligning human resources strategies with institutional goals. This position partners with academic and administrative units to provide strategic HR guidance, support workforce planning, and ensure compliance with university policies and state and federal regulations. The Advisor contributes to a positive and inclusive campus environment by supporting employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and operational excellence. Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor and lead others to ensure effective operations at the law school. Ability to handle data with confidentiality. Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to human resources. Ability to analyze requests to determine compliance with policies, procedures and regulations. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers. Demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate and prioritize work assignments to meet timeliness and quality expectations. Ability to learn, adapt to and operate efficiently in multiple systems utilized concurrently, including human capital management system, talent management and other relevant integrations, and Microsoft Office. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Must possess excellent judgement, high expectations for quality, excellent customer service etiquette, and a strong work ethic.
