Sr. Manager, Development, Burger King

Position Overview Restaurant Brands International Inc. (RBI) operates over 32,000 restaurants worldwide across the TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES®, and FIREHOUSE SUBS® brands. The Sr.Manager, Development Execution focuses on expanding Burger King’s footprint through development agreements with new and existing partners. Key Responsibilities Work closely with business unit leaders to develop and execute long‑term growth strategy. Attract high‑quality prospective franchisees and market the opportunity externally. Build and lead financial models, outputs, and scenarios for diligence and deal structuring. Conduct due diligence on prospective candidates and partners, including Discovery Days with prospective franchisees. Negotiate development agreements with prospective franchisees. Coordinate between Development, Market Planning, Franchising, and Field teams to gather insights for negotiations. Develop and deliver presentations to executive‑level leadership. Qualifications & Skills Undergraduate bachelor’s or equivalent degree. 7–10years of experience in banking, private equity, or mergers & acquisition with a strong business‑development background. Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving, and project‑management skills. Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling for diligence and deal negotiation. Experience with PowerPoint and presentation structuring. Ability to collaborate across departments to collect data and structure pitches to potential franchise partners. Work Environment RBI follows a 5‑day, in‑office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates are expected to work onsite five days per week.
