Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Sales Manager with proven experience in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating revenue, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires strong market knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to drive occupancy, group bookings, and event sales to meet and exceed hotel revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and occupancy targets
- Identify and secure new corporate, group, and travel agent accounts
- Conduct outside sales calls, site inspections, and client presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close group, corporate, and event business
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
- Actively prospect through cold calls, networking, and industry events
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
- Collaborate with Revenue Management and Operations teams to optimize pricing and inventory strategies
- Prepare weekly sales activity reports and monthly production reports
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and ensure contract compliance
- Participate in trade shows, sales missions, and local networking events
- Support banquet and catering sales efforts as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Regional Director
Qualifications:
- with experience focusing on SMERF segment for room sales
- Experience in hotel sales required
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel for assignments when required
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced environments
