Reports To: Vice President of Operations
Work Environment: Onsite; schedule flexibility required

Position Summary

The Training & Operations Support Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining training programs and operational support processes that drive consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and performance standards. This role partners closely with operations leadership to improve efficiency, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement across the organization. The position requires onsite presence and flexibility to adjust work schedules as operational needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

• Design, develop, and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing employees.
• Maintain standardized training materials, manuals, job aids, and operational procedures.
• Ensure training content aligns with company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices.
• Track training completion, effectiveness, and employee competency.
• Identify training gaps and recommend corrective or enhanced training solutions.

Operations Support

• Provide hands-on operational support to field and corporate teams to ensure consistent application of processes and procedures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on operational policies, systems, and workflows.
• Support the rollout and implementation of new systems, procedures, and operational initiatives.
• Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Partner with leadership to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.

Compliance & Quality Control

• Support internal controls by ensuring employees are trained in compliance, documentation, and approval requirements.
• Conduct operational reviews, audits, and quality checks to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Collaborate with management on corrective action plans to address operational deficiencies.
• Maintain accurate training and operational records for audit and reporting purposes.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between operations, HR, accounting, and other cross-functional teams.
• Coach and support managers and supervisors on training execution and operational best practices.
• Promote a culture of accountability, consistency, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in training, operations, or process improvement roles.
• Experience supporting multi-site or field operations is strongly preferred.
• Must be willing to travel 90% of the time.

• Proven ability to develop clear procedures and training documentation.
• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS), operational software, or ERP systems preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing operational demands.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to work onsite and adjust schedule as needed to support operational priorities.
• Ability to travel to field locations as required.
• Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
