Key Responsibilities\n

• Employ behavioral modification techniques, assertiveness training, and supportive therapy tailored to individual needs.
\n
• Conduct thorough assessments by gathering data through effective interviewing, consultation with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams, and reviewing relevant documentation to understand the medical, social, and emotional context of each patient and their family.
\n
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments of patients and families, taking into account their unique strengths, needs, and cultural values.
\n
• Facilitate educational and therapeutic group sessions, documenting patient goals, feedback, and progress to inform future sessions and treatment adjustments.
\n
• Act as a liaison with community services, fostering relationships to help families access additional resources and support.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with school-aged children and their families, addressing a range of issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, trauma, and family dynamics. Your work will not only focus on individual therapy but will also engage families and caregivers in the therapeutic process to foster a holistic approach to mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Must possess an active California licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication, enabling effective interaction with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

• Ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients while providing a supportive atmosphere.

• Competence in timely documentation of services and treatment plans is essential to ensure continuity of care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a school setting working with children and adolescents facing psychological challenges is highly preferred.

• Experience in delivering evidence-based therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A background in community service coordination, particularly in a wellness or educational context.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload responsibilities.
