We are seeking an Accounting Bookkeeper with QuickBooks to manage small-business general ledgers and client bookkeeping portfolios. Reporting directly to the Business Owner, this role will use QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate financial records, support reconciliation and full month-end close activities, prepare financial statements, and produce monthly management reports. The position offers opportunities to progress to Senior Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, and manager-level reporting responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Record transactions using double-entry bookkeeping practices.
- Manage small-business general ledgers and client bookkeeping portfolios.
- Perform bank, monthly, and payroll reconciliations.
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Track expenses and provide payroll support, including ADP Payroll integration.
- Maintain QuickBooks Online records and documentation.
- Support the full month-end close and prepare financial statements.
- Prepare monthly management reports from QuickBooks.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online.
- Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Experience with payroll reconciliation and monthly reconciliation.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- QuickBooks Online certification.
