Outside Sales Representative SE Florida | West Palm Beach, FL Regular Employee | Salary Exempt What you’ll do Strobes‑R‑Us is seeking a full‑time Emergency Vehicle Equipment Sales Representative responsible for maintaining existing relationships and cultivating new customer relationships. A successful sales rep will demonstrate high levels of product knowledge in the emergency vehicle upfitting space and meet with private and government customers to understand vehicle‑related upfit needs, preparing appropriate quotations for parts and labor. Territory includes Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, and Indian River Counties. The candidate must have one year of prior experience in the emergency police and/or fire vehicle equipment industry and familiarity with manufacturer brands associated with these vehicles. The role requires travel to meet with customers regularly and attendance at several Florida trade shows each year. Strobes‑R‑Us utilizes Salesforce for tracking customer contacts and opportunities on a daily basis; quotations are prepared in PLEX ERP software. Position includes a laptop, telephone, and a take‑home demonstration vehicle used when visiting customers. What you need to be successful Exhibits a high level of customer service and support. Personal drive to achieve; ambitious and self‑motivated. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Two years or more of sales experience. Eager to learn and willing to listen. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience building emergency vehicles preferred. Knowledge of police or fire equipment preferred. Retired law enforcement or fire department experience preferred. Requirements Can read and follow written and verbal instructions. High level of comfort with computers; proficient with Microsoft Teams, Word, Outlook, and quick to learn new software. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Candidates must reside within the assigned sales territory. Full‑time position Monday through Friday. Minimum of three days per week traveling and visiting customers within the territory. Expected turnaround time for quotes is 24‑48 business hours. Why Aebi Schmidt Group?
