Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional capabilities and physical conditions to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy that may include personalized exercise prescription, manual therapy techniques, and modality application to facilitate recovery.
• Maintain a manageable patient caseload, ensuring focused care for each individual throughout their treatment journey.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications that promote long-term wellness.
• Document patient progress accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically Web PT, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Continuously track and assess treatment outcomes, modifying care plans as necessary based on patient feedback and progress.
• Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and enhance collaborative treatment outcomes.
• Lead group educational sessions focused on wellness and preventative care strategies within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain disorders, particularly athletes seeking to regain peak performance levels. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• At least two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, showcasing proficiency in outpatient orthopedic care.
• A thorough understanding of manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
