Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and limitations.

• Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) to ensure effective execution of therapeutic techniques as outlined in patient care plans.

• Documenting patient progress with precision, including clinical notes and discharge summaries to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

• Engaging in community outreach to promote health and wellness and empower patients to take an active role in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will focus on outpatient clients in need of rehabilitation due to orthopedic injuries, post-surgical conditions, neurological disorders, and chronic pain syndromes. You will work with a diverse patient population, including adults and seniors, allowing you to apply a versatile approach to therapy that includes both strength training and therapeutic exercises tailored to client capabilities.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a physical therapist in New Jersey.
• Current CPR certification.
• A strong commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development.

Preferred Experience
