Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians to develop individualized treatment programs that align with their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Implement therapy sessions utilizing various modalities and evidence-based techniques, ensuring a comprehensive approach tailored to each patient's condition.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes, maintaining open communication with patients and referring physicians.
• Engage with patients through effective communication, offering education on exercises, recovery processes, and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physiatrists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and drive clinic performance.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient treatments, progress, and clinical outcomes in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Participate in clinic meetings and continuous education to stay updated on the latest in physical therapy practices and advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, pediatric patients, and athletes in need of sports rehabilitation. Your ability to connect with each patient personally will be critical in fostering their recovery journey, helping them to achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety and emergency preparedness.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Proficient in technology, including basic word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A commitment to patient-centered care, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with specialized training in areas such as pediatric rehabilitation, sports therapy, and neurologic rehabilitation will be considered a plus. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and outcome measurement tools will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
