Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Periscope, you will be responsible for:

• Directing physical therapy treatments to prevent disability and relieve pain.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of each patient to assess physical function through diagnostic tests and assessments.
• Collaborating with physical therapy assistants to ensure the appropriate execution of individualized care plans.
• Administering hands-on therapeutic techniques such as manual exercises, massage, and application of physical agents.
• Fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices, while recommending modifications when necessary.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and care plans, while participating in case conferences with an interdisciplinary team.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in patient conditions and making adjustments to care as needed.
• Providing education to patients and their families about physical therapy practices and home exercise programs.
