Position Overview

Reliant Orthopedic and Sports is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our rehabilitation facility located in Titusville, New Jersey. This full-time position allows you to play a pivotal role in helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life through tailored physical therapy interventions. You will be integral in guiding patients through their recovery journey in an outpatient clinic setting.

Work Environment

You will be primarily working onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, which is specifically designed for outpatient care. Our facility features advanced therapy equipment and a supportive atmosphere that encourages patient engagement and active participation in their recovery. The work schedule is set from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, giving you valuable time for personal pursuits after work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and goals.
• Manage a designated patient caseload, ensuring adequate time is dedicated to each patient for effective care delivery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative treatment methods to improve patients' physical function and mobility.
• Implement and oversee individualized therapeutic exercises, therapeutic modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
• Encourage and motivate patients during their rehabilitation process by providing education and support, fostering a positive environment for recovery.
• Remain updated with the latest in physical therapy research and techniques, integrating new knowledge into practice.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to create comprehensive integrated care plans.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to ensure continuity of care.
• Continuously engage in professional development and attend relevant workshops and training sessions to enhance skillsets.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will include a diverse patient population encompassing individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact as you assist patients of all ages, helping them return to daily activities and, in some cases, sports participation.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy modalities and treatment techniques.
• Exceptional ability to devise and execute individualized exercise programs that align with best practices in physical therapy.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically Web PT, for seamless patient documentation and record management.
• A commitment to remaining current with developments in the physical therapy field through ongoing education and training.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting, specifically within sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities that enhance recovery outcomes.
• Experience collaborating in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
