Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist for Outpatient Orthopedic Care

Meridian Shine Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Trenton, New Jersey. Work Environment

This role is primarily conducted onsite, providing hands-on care within our vibrant clinic environment. As a member of our team, you will be working closely with two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in a collaborative setting that emphasizes teamwork and shared success. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured environment that balances patient care with the opportunity for professional development and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual objectives and requirements, establishing a clear path for rehabilitation.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, seeing one patient per hour while ensuring each treatment plan is tailored to personal goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement diverse treatment plans utilizing various techniques, such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electric stimulation.
• Encourage and motivate patients through their recovery journeys, providing support and guidance to help them enhance their functional capabilities.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately to maintain high standards of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Minimize reliance on medications through alternative therapeutic strategies, providing solutions to avoid unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, contributing your expertise to integrate multidisciplinary approaches to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on observed outcomes, maintaining open lines of communication with patients and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily involve patients with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Our patient base is largely comprised of individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring access to quality care tailored to their specific needs. You will play an instrumental role in helping these clients regain mobility and improve their overall physical health.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current certification and licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A clean professional record without any disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Skills in manual therapy techniques and the development of personalized exercise regimens are preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively motivate patients and collaborate with team members.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
