Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients to assess their mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Develop and execute evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual needs and goals of each patient.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment within our state-of-the-art facility to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare providers, including MDs and OTs, to implement a holistic 360-degree approach to patient care.
• Prepare detailed progress notes and maintain accurate documentation using our streamlined Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention techniques and effective exercises to be performed at home.
• Engage actively in case discussions, clinical rounds, and continuous professional development workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals requiring rehabilitation from musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic surgeries. You will encounter a varied caseload, including but not limited to patients recovering from joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise will play a crucial role in facilitating the recovery journey of each patient, empowering them to regain functionality and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in the State of New Jersey or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated manual therapy skills and clinical reasoning capabilities.
• A strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, interconnected, and team-oriented practice.
• Willingness to engage in mentorship opportunities or assist in clinical education for new graduates.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, showcasing an ability to effectively manage a diverse patient population.
• Advanced certifications such as dry needling, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, or sports rehabilitation will be advantageous.
• Demonstrated interest in continuous professional development and pursuit of further education opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, depending on experience. Additionally, St. Elara Medical Center provides a robust benefits package that includes:
