Work Environment

Your clinical practice will take place onsite within a cutting-edge, 5000 square foot outpatient office that is designed to facilitate a wide array of rehabilitation techniques and exercise programs. The environment fosters collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. You will work closely with a team of two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), ensuring that each patient receives tailored care and focused attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs, capabilities, and limitations.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing mobility and overall function.
• Maintain an efficient patient schedule, typically managing two patients per hour while delivering high-quality, personalized care.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise programs to minimize pain and facilitate recovery, focusing on non-surgical interventions whenever possible.
• Foster a supportive environment by encouraging and motivating patients throughout their treatment processes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment details, and progress using EMR software such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
• Champion wellness initiatives by providing education on lifestyle modification tailored to each patient's needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will primarily involve working with adults with private medical insurance, offering rehabilitation support for various orthopedic injuries and conditions. Our patient demographic includes individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes looking to regain peak performance, and those seeking to improve functional mobility due to chronic conditions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions related to physical therapy licensing.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Solid understanding and experience in using electronic medical record systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrable success in creating effective treatment plans and achieving positive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
