Work Environment

The physical therapist position at Flex Well Therapeutics is structured around providing care in a modern outpatient office setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to create a seamless continuum of care. Our facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and therapeutic resources, designed to enhance treatment efficacy and promote healing. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, offering a balanced professional life conducive to optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' physical capabilities, medical history, and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on collaborative discussions with the patient care team and physician input.
• Utilize various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, exercise prescriptions, and educational components to facilitate patient progress.
• Provide ongoing monitoring and adjustments to treatment plans, adapting strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
• Instruct patients and their families in exercises, therapeutic modalities, and assistive devices to support recovery beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and suggest improvements to the care process.
• Prioritize caseload responsibilities and manage daily tasks effectively while ensuring high-quality patient-centered care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Flex Well Therapeutics, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, presenting with various orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. This role requires a strong understanding of the unique needs of different age groups and the ability to tailor treatment approaches accordingly. Your expertise will significantly impact the management of conditions such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Current, valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• A passion for fostering positive patient interactions and a commitment to enhancing patient health and rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience is not required, candidates with clinical internships or relevant practicum experience will be considered favorably.
