Work Environment

This position is based onsite, allowing you to work directly in home care environments where you can closely monitor the day-to-day progress of our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of patients to tailor treatment plans that align with their individual rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a diverse patient caseload by developing and implementing effective, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that promote optimal physical function and mobility.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic care to educate patients on their conditions and rehabilitation exercises while fostering a motivating atmosphere to inspire commitment to their recovery.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and modalities to alleviate pain, restore motion, and enhance function.
• Monitor patient progress regularly through evaluations and adjust exercise regimens and treatment plans as required to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously, utilizing EMR software to maintain accurate and organized records.
• Advocate for non-surgical interventions, emphasizing patient education and empowerment in their care process.
• Prepare and lead group therapy sessions focused on strength building, flexibility, and mobility enhancement.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create a holistic approach to each patient's treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work closely with patients ranging from young athletes to seniors, all seeking to regain their independence and improve their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is a minimum requirement; candidates with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) are strongly preferred.
• An active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license in New Jersey is mandatory.
• Proficient in a variety of manual therapy techniques and a strong background in developing effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, is advantageous for documenting patient care.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants with varying levels of experience, candidates with a demonstrated history of success in orthopedic outpatient settings and who have participated in ongoing professional development in the field of physical therapy will be given priority. Staying updated with current research and advancements in physical therapy methodologies is essential.

Compensation and Benefits
